Solar Panels & Battery Storage

HJT Electrical & Solar are MCS accredited for the installation of solar panels and battery storage systems.

We carry out new installations, fault finding & repairs. We also replace damaged / faulty panels, inverters & batteries.

If you don't want solar panels, why not take advantage of cheap overnight electricity tariffs and just install a battery storage system.

This would allow you to charge the batteries up overnight using cheap rate electricity and use the stored power throughout the day when electricity prices are higher.

Residential and charitable installations of solar panels and battery storage are subject to 0% VAT. This zero-rate tax relief applies to both the equipment and the installation labour, and it is scheduled to remain in effect until March 31, 2027.

Businesses are not eligible for this zero-rate scheme. Commercial solar panel installations are subject to the standard 20% VAT.
